Visits to the EMAV building in Can Batlló

Block 7 of the old industrial complex of Can Batlló has been rehabilitated to become, next year, the headquarters of the School of Audiovisual Media. This Saturday morning, guided tours are organized to publicize the new spaces for students and families as well as the Bordeta neighborhood, the Font de la Guatlla and the other surrounding neighborhoods.

To sign up for these visits, you only have to go on Saturday 18, between 10 am and 2 pm, to the reception of the building and identify yourself with the DNI. Since the works are still in their final phase, the visits will be made in groups, guided and following a pre-established route.

La falta d'equipaments que els veïns del Poblenou fa anys que denuncien podria tenir els dies comptats. L'última Comissió de Govern de l'A­juntament de Barcelona va aprovar fa uns dies la construcció d'un me­gaequipament a la rambla vertebral d'aquest barri de Sant Martí que ­inclou una escola, un casal i un gran aparcament subterrani. Aquest ambiciós projecte, que està previst que es construeixi a la rambla del Poblenou, 128-130, tindrà un cost aproximat de 16,4 milions d'euros i una previsió d'execució de 15 mesos, com sempre, a partir del moment en què comencin les obres.

The Camp del Ferro sports center is a compact building with a sports program cleverly embedded within its perimeter walls in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, ​​at one end of the School of Design and Art. It contains three tracks, two underground ones located in parallel and developed transversely to the access, and one on the first floor that can be divided into three tracks in the longitudinal direction. In this way, up to five tracks can work at the same time: their dimensions condition the size of the complex and give rise to a volume of square floor plan that emerges on the slope of Carrer Pare Manyanet.
