Recovered the panels of the four suns of Park Güell

The four ceramic and glass "trencadís" panels representing the sun in the four seasons of the year are once again visible in the Sala Hpóstila of Park Güell after being restored. Work of Josep Maria Jujol, main collaborator of Antoni Gaudí, are one of the most important heritage elements of Park Güell.

El Museu de Cultures del Món está a punto de abrirse al público. Este miércoles por la mañana se ha hecho la presentación y el sábado se inaugurará oficialmente. El equipamiento expone 529 piezas de alrededor del mundo, buena parte de la colección Folch. El nuevo museo quiere dar visibilidad al patrimonio que el Ayuntamiento y otros coleccionistas privados del país han ido reuniendo a lo largo del siglo XX.

The construction of the Camp del Ferro Sports Center will start in the last quarter of 2017. Located in Pare Manyanet street, in La Sagrera, two of the three equipment pavilions will be buried. The building, sustainable and made of ceramic elements, has an execution period of 18 months.

El Castillo de Montjuïc estrena su propio centro de interpretación. Se trata de una exposición permanente que explica la historia de este monumento arquitectónico y su relación con la ciudad, desde las primeras actividades de extracción de piedra hasta su uso como prisión militar. La muestra ocupa cuatro salas del castillo a las que se accede desde el patio de armas.
